"Comes out of the box with a Trojan virus" on by mssucks666

Pros: Its a good unit, but Acer has poor support, and their web site is not updated. Often impossible to find drivers, software updates, firmware for anything.
Vista has been improved from a year ago, faster, numeric keyboard on a small notebook is unique.

Cons: This unit comes with bloatware, such as Acer Gamezone (Oberon Media) that has a Trojan Horse - Trojan.Zlob.
Acer needs better QA and testing before shipping.
Contacting Acer support is often frustrating at best, unresponsive at worst.

Summary: Hardware itself seems ok. Buyer should be capable of configuring Vista to be user friendly, and scanning and cleaning immediately out of the box, as this unit comes pre-infected with Trojan.Zlob.
I purchased 3 units and all 3 had the same problem. Antivirus and Malware detected Trojans from the Backspin Billards bloatware pre-loaded on this machine.
If you are unable to clean and detect the infections yourself, professional cleanup costs may exceed price and value of this unit.
Uninstall the McAfee Security disappointment that is pre-loaded.

Can acer gamezone be removed via the add and remove program tool? Does an anti-virus program such as AVG detect and isolate such trojans?
