    "Great laptop if I could connect to the wireless internet and stay connected!"

    Pros: Great price if I could get the wireless internet to connect and stay connected (I only paid $689.00)

    Cons: Poor wireless internet connection/access

    Summary: I cannot connect to the internet via the wireless internet connection whenever I need to and when I can connect I am disconnected within seconds. Spent 7 hours one Saturday trying to connect via built-in wireless connection and finally gave up. Very frustrating. Don't know how to fix it. Doesn't appear to have connection for external antenna for wireless network adapter. I hate to have to buy something else and find out it still doesn't work. I've been troubleshooting from my PC since I purchased it last month.

    It turned out the router wasn't vista compatible (It was a D-link) we took it back and got a linksys, haven't had a problem since!!

    Spitfire, get into device manager and go to the properties of your wireless card and turn power management off. It's that simple.
