Summary: I bought Acer desktop and laptop before as the price is cheaper compared to other brands but my laptop had hard ware problem after one year warranty and quoted repair cost is higher than my purchased price of my laptop I rejected the repair quotation and i discarded my acer laptop after 1 year as it is more worth it to buy a new laptop than to repair it. and purchased a more expensive HP and it had no problem at all after 3 years usage. After my bad experience with Acer I will not buy Acer products anymore although it is cheaper as the life span of the product is too short . Acer products is not recommended anyway if you ask me

This laptop was released less than a year ago. How in the heck did you buy it, run out of warranty, buy an HP, and own it for 3 years? If you aren't writing a review for this product then don't waste everyone's time

How are you out of wrranty on this laptop? It was released in July 2011. That is less than the 1 year warranty.
