"Run 10+ hrs daily for 8 months without one problem." By robinnisfail

Pros: Very portable, low weight, ease of use and reliable.

Cons: Could do with a better cooling system for the netbook. And the mains to low voltage transformer gets a bit too hot for my liking. Maybe the transformer should be upgraded, but i do live in the Tropics with high temperatures and high humidity.

Summary: I was happy with the price when I bought the Aspire One 8 months ago, but it is $150 less now! (in Australia)

"screen cracked af 2 months no warranty do not buy" By flyboy9503

Pros: sceen broken after 2 months actual physical internal damage AND NO WARRANTY FROM ACER this was transported to school in backpack and i guess the books were to heavy against the back of screen thin plastic

Cons: screen has cracks in after the machine was put in backpack acer will not fix. i found 12 others on the internet with broken screens. the glass isn't cracked. the sceen is damaged if you decide to buy you better get the extended store warranty.

Summary: very poor construction for a $300 machine
