Pros: GREAT SCREEN AND PERFORMANCE. IT WILL RUN ALL THE APPS YOU NEED AND THEN SOME. THIS LAPTOP IS NOT FOR GAMERS BUT IF YOUR ON THE ROAD ALOT AND NEED A WORK HORSE THIS IS THE LAPTOP YOU NEED AND BATTER LIFE IS 8+ NO JOKE

"Very Disappointment - Negative Value Added"
Pros: The weight. And the battery life; more than 6 hours.
Cons: 1. Shuts down unexpectedly and often. In a 3-hour work session, shuts down 3/4 times, resulting in loss productivity 2. The audio is terrible (like two metal plates robbibg against each other) and max volume very low 3. SLOW while working online

"Acer has just passed Dell world wide and HP is next."
Pros: Having a no optical drive is advantageous and here is why:
1. lower lost
2. lower weight
3. use less battery
4. laptop equipped optical drives are crao
5. with hard drive so big just load the move on it. carrying DVS disc is rediculous
Enough saidCons: No cons at this price. You get what you paid for. I rather save the money and buy a new model next year.

"Very disappointing! Nothing but problems."
Pros: The size and feel of the machine is solid, and the battery gets close to 6 to 7 hours.
Cons: Continual program failure. I've tried to chalk it up to Vista issues but other machine's I've had with Vista do not fail nearly as badly as this one does. Continual freezes, programs not responding, and crazy things happening with drives & monitor.
