    "Acer TravelMate 2480 is a work horse!"

    Pros: Durable latop for travel or at home - able to use for all my computing needs.

    Cons: Only comes with 512 MB Ram but it is upgradable to 2Gigs

    Summary: I purchased the Acer TravelMate 2480 after owning a Sony Vaio - and thought I would continue with Sony products. After much thought and research I decided on the Acer TravelMate 2480 for several reasons. Not only was the Acer TravelMate 2480 MUCH lower in price - it had all the bells and whistles that I needed. Other than coming with only 512 MB of Ram I have nothing but great things to say about this laptop. I installed (for around $25.00) 1 Gig of Ram, and it ran fast and smoothly upon boot up. I do plan on upgrading to 2 Gigs of Ram soon. I highly recommend this laptop!
