Pros: Nothing. Maybe um....nope, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.
Cons: Everything that's not on my very short list of pros.
Summary: My HD broke 5 times. Half the special features never work, and I owned this oversized calculator for a year and a half, and it spent more time in the shop than on my desk, making my life easier. Actually, this thing made my life harder and more frustrating. Once I went so far as to utterly destroy this computer (yes I considered a lemon law lawsuit but it was too late). This computer is absolutely terrible. I would give it a zero if I could. Actually, this computer deserves a -10 rating. DO NOT BUY THIS LINE OF CALCULATORS (If you want a calculator, get a calculator)OR ANY DERIVATIVE, OR ACTUALLY ANYTHING WITH THE NAME ACER ON IT. YOU WILL END UP IN ANGER MANAGEMENT. I'M WARNING YOU NOW: RUN, don't walk, AS FAR FROM IT AS YOU CAN. IF YOU GET THE URGE TO BUY IT, JUST HAVE SOMEONE TAKE YOUR CREDIT CARD AWAY.

Pros: Solid performance. Monitor is fine unlike others have claimed. Also, regarding the "hot" wrist pad...it does get warm, but by no means HOT.
Cons: I have had this laptop around a year now, and it has developed small cracks in the plastic around the monitor and on the left wrist pad. Also, some of "finish/texture" from the keys have worn off of the frequently used keys and the spacebar.

Pros: Screen resolution (I don´t recommend a laptop with 1024x768 for intensive use with CAD design or Photoshop), smart, plenty of ports... Very powerfull to its size (its size is average: good for display and keyboard, but it´s very flat and not too heavy -I
Cons: When using photoshop, the fan is switching on and off most of the time... maybe they did not configure it wisely, as I don´t think there is any need for that. Other laptops behave better. The hot left palm rest could have been easily avoided just placing

Pros: Speed, Inputs, Screen, Battery Life, Bluetooth, 4 USB 2 inputs, DVD Drive
Cons: Speakers can be better!
Summary: I've been using this Acer Laptop for almost 2 years now without a single problem! It's a great laptop, good for all kinds of works! But I used it mostly for video editing! And believe me, this laptop is the best! I've edited over 20 projects on it! And it's still working perfectly! I also travel quite a lot and I've used all connectivity options without a problem wherever I was!

Pros: Nice features, screen resolution, plenty of ports
Cons: TECH SERVICE, fan no fun, hot HD area, blurry crt monitor output
Summary: Worst tech service ever.
The high res screen (1400 x 1050) lost its bright because of a conexion failure. I sent it to techs and 3 weeks later it came with its mother board changed!! and obviously the screen problem was still there.
Second time I sent it they replaced the screen but they placed a low res 1024 x 768 instead, and bad quality.
Third time, we´ll see...
Good luck spanish acer consumers...
