"this king of portables is powerful and gorgeous" on by herooftime

Pros: highly costomizable, excellent quality and support

    Cons: none come to mind

Summary: this is the best thin and light on the market. my friend has an apple, and i suggest not venturing into a new OS for a computer that is not as good. dont even think about dells, my family has had 3 - all horrible quality and even worse costomer support. this computer gets a 9 from be becouse it performs like a beast, very cheap to upgrade, looks awsome, high quality build, and everything else that you can only get from alienware. i love mine more than i even thought i would (and i had very high expectations). it has a good battery life and good wireless. the monitor is awsome. power cinema is a great feature. yes, the base price costs more than other low quality thin and lights, but just wait for it to go on sale, which is nearly every month. i waited till they took off $500 and free shipping ($100 value). from the time i ordered it to when i got it was LESS than 2 weeks. that is fast building and shipping! i got the 2.0ghz processor (intel's mobiles are better than there p4s, so it runs similar to a 2.8-3.0 ghz p4), 7200 rpm 60gb hd, 1gb ram, wireless, 6x cd burner, 5.1 surround, and probably other stuff i forgot for only $1600. thats a steal! dont tell me they're expensive, that's much cheaper than the compatition. the only reason this didnt get a 10 is because its about 1.2" thick and not the advertised 1". i highly recommend this product.

I have had my sentia since last November. I've had nothing but trouble with blue screen errors and poor wireless connectivity. I have one dedicated tech support now who is committed to getting my computer working as it should. I actually think they finally solved my problem. I was ready to take a loss and just buy another computer. I'm glad to hear someone is very happy with theirs, it give me hope that my computer will perform as it should
