Pros: good sound, inexpensive.
Cons: if you like the sound of static, this is your speaker. i use these speakers at work and they are constantly buzzing throughout the day. it seems they're reacting to cell phone calls or wi-fi, i don't know. not a good purchase.

Pros: Sounds great when listening to music or movies.
Cons: Picks up radio noise even when you turn off the unit. You have to unplug it to silence the static and interference coming in on the satellite speakers. I have found similar reviews for the next higher model as well.
