"Nice big upgrade fro the ibook"
Pros: OS X..and the all the free, high quality software that comes with it. Durability Reliability Great performance Great battery life Nice screen Looks great too
Cons: Why not get the 12 inch powerbook? I just got one with 768mb (can go up to 1.2mb)ram, 1ghz g4, superdrive, with dual display capabilities (ibook only does mirroring)...I would rather spend the extra few hundred dollars for the increased performance, and

"Seems just what I need for a desktop mobile replacement"
Pros: I definitely want the 933 MHz processor, with the 40GB drive, as I don't need more speed and 60GB. I especially like the CD/RW drive, plus DVD viewing for movies and anything else on a DVD disk. The service and support ratings definitely impress me, plus
Cons: A DVD R/W would be handy. A 15-inch screen would be nice, but I have seen the 14 and it will be OK.

Pros: The iBook itself looks very sleek and stylish. And its built to be quite durable, unlike other notbooks on the market today. Mac OS X is very nice for casual computing (E-mail, Surfing, Chatting).
Cons: Gets scratched and dirty very, very easily.. and the fact that the entire notebook is white doesn't help either. Performance is extremely disappointing. The iBook can barely run the bundled Tony Hawk Pro Skater 4. And I tried a game of Warcraft III, no
