"A great size and a really great design"
Pros: Good looks, lots of features, amazing design elements
Cons: Still very pricy, white is a magnet for dirt.
Summary: I finally got a good look at this today and I will say it first, "this thing does not disappoint!"
The magnetic latching system for the screen make a big impression on the clean lines of the unit and the added features of magnetic power supply, built in camera, and lots of ports make this a very cool laptop.
The size may be perfect for business people who are on the move. It's pretty light and manageable with the 13 in. screen and the new keyboard design (with the oddly raised keys) actually works well.
We all know MAC makes a nice machine...but the added INTEL chips make this a very desirable computer thanks to the BOOT CAMP option. At this point, I can't think of any compelling reason not to consider a MAC. For normal users everywhere, the MACBOOK is a great option.

About the new latching system its interesting but I have a questions about its durability of a magnetic locking system since you destroy magnetic pull by pretty much hitting the magnets against things. But anyways just a minor concern since I'm almost sure they while it will happen it will probably be far down the road. Also since I saw a few people mentioning this and this is just a good a time as any don't buy this system for an X-mas gift has nothing to do with the quality of the system I've checked it out the last few days and its really nice. But for those that don't know Intel plans on releasing the merom(the sucessor to core duo) processor in August which means at the very latest I'd say the end of september you'll see the sucessor to this system which will once again be 64 bit compatable which these are for the moment and more energy effient with more power anyways just a note if anyone reads it.
