"My First Mac OSX"
Pros: Fast, Easy, Amazing!
Cons: Little heavy, got a super gaming machine, softwares are expensive
Summary: I was a Windows user since I was born! I finally have switched just before my 19th birthday. I have used windows all my life. From a windows computer to a windows laptop. I've used Windows 95, 2000, XP, and then Vista. But OSX is superb of them all. It boots up a lot faster than I thought, and also its so simple to use. I purchased this laptop just today at the Apple Store and got education discount ($100 off). Total price I paid after tax and recycling fee was $1300 about there. Very good deal on my behalf.
I've used this laptop for two hours and I love it. The organization of windows and widgets, trying the crossover program and successfully downloaded Day of Defeat and it worked amazingly on the Macbook. I didn't think it would play this well but WOW, I didn't even have to fix the configuration it was done for me already. This laptop is just amazing and I love it.
I've read Cnet reviews, Amazon reviews, and apple reviews, and all of them were right. Once you try a Mac, you won't want to go back to windows. I don't know how they do it, the fast boot up time and multitask speed. Its just amazing. But by far I love this laptop very much.
You've got to get one! These macs are AWESOME! I'm a past 18 years window user and I'm glad I took the jump into the Mac OSX world.
