"Good if you can't spend for an Alienware m11X."
2.5 starson by PizzleDizzlePros: Updates i5 CPU from Intel. Now includes Thunderbolt serial port for massive data throughput
Cons: Apple. Locked into propietary software and hardware services and options which can be less than satisfactory. Only i5 options, no i7 options like with the 11" Alienware and other subcompacts or 'ultraportables'. No dedicated video processing as with other
Summary: A very thin and light 11 inch portable! However, Priced at $999 for only 2GB of RAM and 64 GB of SSD storage is not competative. I recently purchased an 11" Alienware for my wife for $1045 that includes 6GB of RAM, 128GB storage, dedicated video processing (powerful NVIDA GPU with 1GB of RAM) and an Intel i7 quad core CPU. The alien is a little heavier, not as thin, but still very light and my wife loves it. I firmly believe, and I use both MAC and Windows based machines in the studio, that Alienware makes a much higher quality product in this category, with better features.
