"Elegant & Powerful, No comparison to the competition"
5.0 starson by HaemanPros: Simple, elegant design. Sleek, thin, Gorgeous screen
Cons: Trackpad a little too large as hands can hit it while typing. Trackpad is also erratic in Windows. Lacks memory card reader
Summary: I'm a long time IBM/Lenovo Thinkpad devotee who just recently switched to Apple. While I miss some things from my Thinkpad (track pointer, keyboard), utlimately this is a far sweeter, leaner, and better machine. Tiger can take some getting used to for us used to Windows; however, if you allow yourself some time to genuinely learn it you'll realize it is a better OS. Apple just seems to make things work easily. For example, it took me numerous attempts to establish a bluetooth connecection between my phone and laptop with my Thinkpad. I kept having troubles with the ports, etc. With my MacBook Pro, it took all of 40 seconds and worked like a charm the first time!
The screen is by far my favorite feature. The crispness, clarity, and boldness of colors is unmatched in any other laptop I've seen. Even other companies with screens that have higher resolution on paper don't look as good in reality. This laptop is also incredibly fast and adept at multitasking. You will not be dissapointed!

I have been a user for many years of the two plataforms (PC and Macs) and by far, the most friendly, easy to use and STABLE without the virus/spyware problems, is the Mac. I have had many PCs (Toshiba, NCR, Compaq and two IBM Thinkpads, the T21 and T30) and I had my first Mac, the 8600 (Rel 7.6) about 10 years ago.
I have to mention, I work as a consultant in IT and I have also been a Unix/Linux fan.
Luis E.
