Summary: see pros and cons. Overall a fantastic machine, love everything about it except for its serious lack of battery life. don't get the glossy screen, i didn't and i thank god everyday.
Appearance is beautiful, quite frankly it makes a better first impression than i do. attracts fingerprints all to often, but thats to be expected. Some compromise needs to be made in order for things to look their best.
Perhaps my favorite part about the computer, regardless of its juvenile extensions, is the backlit keyboard. It makes working and playing in the dark as easy as doing it in the daylight. I will never go back to windows again, its the attention to detail that makes this machine stand out over any windows powered machine i've owned, including my alienwares.
