"There's a lot to be said for switching"
Pros: Gorgeous screen, ergonomics, speed, simplicity, user-friendliness
Cons: I've never been thrilled with touchpads, so I bought a wireless Mighty Mouse.
Summary: Just picked up one of these beauties this morning, and it's like I just came out of a ten year coma. I had fallen in love with its appearance and intuitiveness at first blush, and had made many, many trips to the Apple retail store trying to talk myself out of it, but in the end, I couldn't resist. Now that I have one, I have to kick myself in the butt for having waited so long. There has never been a PC that actually hit an emotional chord with me before, and then delivered the goods. Granted, I'm gonna have to spend a ton or two to replace all my Wintel software, but somehow, that doesn't really bother me. Of course, if I were on a strict budget, I wouldn't be penning these lines at all, but I'm not, and couldn't be happier.

Just buy software called Parallels for the Mac and you can have the best of both worlds. Install XP or Vista (or both) on your Mac and you can run all your Wintel software just as if it was a Windows machine, right on the Mac desktop. If it wasn't for Parallels, it would be hard for me to consider a Mac. I wouldn't be surprised if Apple bought Parallels some day.
