  • "Battery life misleading, corrupts my pdf files."
    1.5 stars
    on by blarelli

Pros: Screen looks good, and works just fine for a lot of things.

Cons: Power saving software gets in the way. It gets really hot, and for some reason keeps corrupting my pdf files. UI feels out of date, can't give me an accurate idea of how long the battery will last, and it keeps trying to use safari after I tell it to us

Summary: I bought it through my school, it was the only option they gave us. For the money it isn't a very good computer. On a screen that small, I really start to miss windows features like snap. Given an option I would have gone with a lenovo and been better off financially and computationally.

Probably your school is in some backroom agreement with Apple. It is terrible they will force people into buy this kind of look-good mediocre hardware. Apple really has to catch up with modern technology. I do love the shiny case of this computer. But it is a ripoff in every way.
