"best chunk of aluminium i ever had the fortune to buy" on by stevecox25

Pros: Look, this is a excellent computer for 99% of home users, thats what it was designed for and it suits its role near perfectly, its not a gamers rig, or a million terraflops wonder computer or even a sandwich press, its just a very nice home computer.

Cons: I'll say it now and get it out of the way, i'm bias towards apple products,i see no real issues with the computer. that being said i'am aware that there are thing they can't do, and concede that some people don't like macs

Summary: lets start with this is a terrible computer, absolutely woeful...

... if your buying it with the deluded idea that it isn't a computer designed for every day tasks and is in fact some form of supercomputer that could outwit deep blue in a game of chess, or cut through crysis like a warm knife through butter. It is a machine for your modern everyday user, the guy (or girl) interested in keeping in contact with friends on facebook, playing around with their photos and listening to music, watching movies, ETC. It doesn't include a couple of things that people love to bring up, no esata, no blu ray, no hdmi, no cheese grater, but those people often miss the point of apple product, and ignore the who the intended user is, then project themselves into a hypothetical situation where apple has stolen their hard earned cash and replaced it with a laptop they never wanted (and i suspect if it ever did include those features they wouldn't buy one anyway, on principal ) then they make there way to a tech site and write up an outraged review.

The fact is this review is useless, all the reviews a pretty much useless, because only two types of people read them, mac users or soon to be mac users that want a new computer are looking for a excuse to buy one, or windows users that feel for what ever reason apple has no business makeing things and this some how hurts them, and the only way to heal such a pain is with fire, flamebait filled fire. All in all my word don't mean much, but if think you'll enjoy owning and using the computer, then go ahead and get one, there nice machines that run well and are extremely well built, but i won't lie to you and tell you that there cheap, there not, and i won't tell you that your getting hardware you can't get from another company, because you can, but when it all boils down to it, the whole is more then the sum of its parts and by purchasing a mac, your getting an experience you can't get else where and in my opinion no dell or hp will match it.

Ditto the review of 'the review'. People who read reviews are generally either looking for confirmation of their (already made) decision or are looking to see if there is anything they've missed. GOOD ONE!

All I read were sandwich pressers and cheese graters on this review. Lol. Nah, just kidding. You are right that this computer IS for the home user, for web browsing on Facebook keeping touch with friends, listening to music, manage photos, etc. and not for the heavy gamer or the die hard computer enthusiast.
