Pros: A new and improved MacBook Pro that's faster, consumes less power, has a more powerful graphics card and is the first with Light Peak/Thunderbolt the next standard for I/O. and it still looks timeless and better then anything else on the market.

Cons: Besides all the Apple/Mac/MacBook Pro haters having something new to envy and me now needing to lay down the change for a new laptop, nothing.

Summary: Same great looks with more brains, power and capability while being more efficient. Apple hits another home-run.

Apple IIe, IIgs, PowerBook 145b, PowerBook 5300cs, PowerBook 1400cs, G3 Tower, G3 Pismo, iBook, PowerBook, iBook, 12" PowerBook, iBook, MacBook, MacBook Pro 1st gen, MacBook Pro 1st Gen Unibody, MacBook Pro non-user replaceable battery, MacBook Air 11"...

These are all the Apples I have owned over the years. This is how much I have loved Apple and slapped the cash down on their equipment. I have argued on multiple forums against haters, saying that the build quality is what makes it so expensive and showing them high end Windows Machines with the same specs that cost around the same as the Mac.

That can be said no more. This is the first time I've felt as though Apple is really ripping off the customer in regards to price - Windows machines with BETTER hardware and better specs cost around $1000. Apple still hasn't offered BluRay nor do their 15.6" laptop monitors reach full HD potential.

The moment they stop trying to be Microsoft from the 90s, I'll go back.

Only time will tell if this is the next standard for I/O...we've heard that before.
