    Cons: -Lack of a Ethernet port
    -Lack optical drive
    -Most 3rd party apps don't take full advantage of the retina display

    Summary: The Mac Book Pro with Retina Display comes in 13 inch and 15 inch models. The 13inch base model of the Mac Book Pro with Retina Display comes with a 13.3-inch (diagonal) LED-backlit display with IPS technology retina display. This display is 2560-by-1600 native resolution at 227 pixels per inch with support for millions of colors. For this model the scaled resolution is 1680 by 1050, 1440 by 900, and 1024 by 640 pixels. The 15 inch version boosts a 15.4-inch (diagonal) LED-backlit display with IPS technology retina display. On the 15 inch model the scaled resolution is 1920 by 1200, 1680 by 1050, 1280 by 800, and 1024 by 640 pixels. A 2.5GHz Dual-core Intel Core i5 processor which can be turbo-boosted to 3.1GHz is found inside the 13 inch machine, while on the base 15inch model you can find a 2.3GHz quad-core Intel Core i7 processor which can be turbo-boosted to 3.3GHz. On both models 8GB of 1600MHz DDR3L onboard memory is standard. Whilst the 15 inch model can be upgraded to 16GB of ram the 13 inch model cannot be upgraded. The standard 13 inch model comes equipped with a 128GB flash hardrive while a 256GB hardrive will be found on the 15 inch model. Both the models come with a Intel HD Graphics 4000 built in graphics chip while the 15 inch model also has a NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M with 1GB of GDDR5 memory. Both models are equipped with a 720p HD facetime camera, 802.11n Wi-Fi wireless networking, Bluetooth 4.0 wireless technology, stereo speakers, dual microphones, and a headphone port which can act as a digital audio output. The keyboard and trackpad is also standard between both models. A Full-size backlit keyboard with 78 (U.S.) or 79 (ISO) keys, including 12 function keys and 4 arrow keys (inverted "T" arrangement) with ambient light sensor is found in booth models. A Multi-Touch trackpad for precise cursor control; supports inertial scrolling, pinch, rotate, swipe, three-finger swipe, four-finger swipe, tap, double-tap, and drag capabilities is found in both models. Both models boost a 7 hour battery life with 30 day standby time.
