"So far so good..."
Pros: The looks. Leopard. Speed.
Cons: The heat. White keys and white trackpad, it's only been a couple hours and my fingerprint are noticeable, and yes my hands are clean.
Summary: I just received it today 11/9. I couldn't wait any longer. I finally gave into getting a mac after using windows exclusively. After waiting for leopard to release and then hearing rumors of macbook upgrades, I was getting antsy. It was finally delivered and I can say I was somewhat disappointed for lack of a better word. I have been exposed to macs at school but mostly only through the adobe products. Keep in mind I can't really compare or contrast from previous macbooks or os's and don't take me wrong, I'm sure I have plenty more how-tos and guides to read and maybe I'll seem more impressed but anyways. I plugged it in and got started only to find myself going online checking email in the same meager way I would in windows. Yeah this Leopard setup is visually appealing but no more than Vista has been the last few months since I upgraded. Its safe to say that I will be keeping my hp desktop around and this macbook is my shiny new toy. Thats about all I can say about it right now. I know I seem mixed but I do give the new macbook a thumbs up. I'm still trying to see what this puppy can do.
