"Fantastic notebook"
Pros: fast, long battery life, smooth case, OS X Leopard
Cons: I'd like a higher res, LED backlit display
Summary: I bought the mid-range model to get the superdrive, and added 4GB of RAM for a little over $100. RAM and hard drive upgrades are easy with this unit. Parallels allows me to run the Windows-only apps that kept me using a Dell Inspiron instead of being 100% Mac.
Keyboard and trackpad work very well and much better than my old iBook, which was the first notebook I actually enjoyed using. Previous experience, besides the Dell, has been with HP, IBM, and Toshiba.
Still, though, if you don't need mobility buy the iMac.
