"the best notebook ever !"
Pros: super sexy, sleek, lighting fast, osX Tiger rocks, great programs, good screen, FANTASTIC keyboard, light, quiet, integrated SLOT LOADING (cooool) optical drive, great price for what I got
Cons: Battery life isn't outstandng for a computer that is so portable, screen isnt great outdoors
Summary: I had been looking into small computers for a while now. I am a web designer / student, and I wanted a small, cute and powerful computer that ha an optical drive. I spent COUNTLESS hours researching, and found the panasonic X2, ut it was soo expensive and hard to find. It also lacked a number of important things such as s-video, a large hard drive and a dvd burner. than i saw the 12" powerbook - sleek, small, amazing keyboard plus everything i was missing with other windows computers. i grew up on windows, but decided to try a mac and I LOVE it!! Tiger is easy to use, pretty and fast. Apple made a stunning computer that is the smallest a computer can be made that is still good enough to be used as a full time computer. I got mine with 1.5Ghz, 786 megs of RAM, 80 gig hard drive and a super drive (DVD and CD burner). My sister is a college student, so I used her student ID number (she would be using it too anyways), and got a wicked student discount on the computer and on microsoft office!! I got about 300 dollars of the price of the computer and 200s off microsoft office ! What an amazing, impressive, WELL PRICED machine!! (By the way, just wait for the oohs and ahhhs youl get at coffee shops.)
