"What The World Wants"
Pros: Small Internet Device
Cons: Can't Buy it right now
Summary: I love it. Out of nowhere ASUS has built the device I've wanted for five years -- a laptop which you can actually carry around without getting a hernia.
Not a PDA.
Not an "iPhone".
Not a "mobile device".
A PC. A computer that you can type on.
With a real OS: Linux.
It aces everything.

while I am intrigued by this machine and it's obscure profile and machine specks. This is a palm top computer, like subcompact cars today. this is a palm top in a biggy world. most of this comps inerds are freeware products and I think this should have been released with a clearer screen than has been reported. there a lot cheeper these days and worth looking at. For another 80 bucks you get more from compaq than from this so called cheap machine like 80 gb hard drive and 512 ram plus other things 14.1 screen that is clearer than this is. if you have been waiting for this then ouch what is your ultimate dream sega dream cast? this is a step in the right direction but it needs to go back to the drawing board. weight is important so is size, but the ability to see and use these machines without help is just as important and from what I see this is a lot of cheap stock in a package that looks even cheaper. hopefully long term performance is better. oh why are we not hearing battery life
