    - feels sketchy to own

Summary: I've had my Laptop now for about 4 months. In gaming, it kicks all my other computer's butts. It looks awesome and it's just an all around cool thing to own. On the surface, your friends will be envious, and you will be proud. But when you are alone with it for hours, you will notice all of it's annoying flaws. I'll talk about each flaw by order of much it bothers me.

    Flaw#1 (MOUSE)
    - I hate everything about the mouse. It glitches out sometimes and it can make normal crap super annoying. It's just unreliable. And I don't know why Asus made the mouse button so hard to click down, or why they didn't separate the left mouse button from the right. It's just a big bendable piece of plastic slapped over two buttons. This will annoy you forever, it never gets better. Just plug in a USB mouse right? Well that's a whole other can of worms that leads me to #2.

    Flaw#2 (FREEZING)
    - Does not happen all the time, but it happens. If you plug in something in the USB you are taking a gamble. Mostly on the start-up. When I have a USB mouse plugged in and start up the machine, I've gotten 2 blue screens of death so now i never do that anymore. As you know you need a mouse to play games like FPSs, so i plug it in AFTER the computer starts up and it usually goes fine from there. "USUALLY"! Sometimes when it's plugged in, the whole computer will randomly freeze. This happened to me a few times, and i noticed the pattern having to do with my USB mouse. Idk if Asus just hates HP mouses, or if this computer just does not like to work with hardware drivers. It's bad though, and it will scare you. It's one of those BAD freezes where you cant move anything or even CTRL+ALT+DEL.

    Flaw#3 (KEEPING IT CLEAN)
    - Stuff gets into the keys, and into the speakers. And you can't get it out. There are small holes all over the speaker area and just a small flake of skin will nestle itself almost permanently in there. Sure you can get it out, but it will be back. (BEWARE THE PET HAIR)

    *Flaw*#4 (SIZE AND BAT LIFE)
    - I wouldn't call this a flaw because i think anybody buying this expects that it will be heavy and have a low batt life. If you don't think it will bother you, think again. It's a huge ordeal moving the huge charger to another room, then moving the huge heavy laptop. I usually take two trips setting it up in another room. You will ALWAYS be attached to that charger, don't think you won't. The only time i ever take it off is to take it in the bathroom with me. literally 30-50 min batt life if you have all of the light settings down (keyboard light, screen light, blue lights).

Summary: WOULD I BUY THIS AGAIN? YES!!!!!!!!!ish

With all the knowledge i have now of owning this laptop, i would still buy it again. For the price it's a good deal, and this computer's performance is better than any computer I've ever owned. Don't think I'm just saying that because i forked over a lot of cash for it, because I'll be honest with you, it's a little scary owning it. Small problems present themselves all the time, Asus support will not help you, and barely any solutions for this particular laptop are online. If you are inexperienced with computers, you should look elsewhere. This computer will assign you fix-me projects probably weekly. What i mean by "sketchy" is that it just feels elaborate and fragile, and at any moment it can get messed up beyond your knowledge and you'll have to take a trip to Geek-squad. It's still an awesome laptop, and i'm proud of it :P
