Pros: Large display screen, nice keyboard (easy on fingers) for extended lengths of usage; Which also has a # side pad. Lightweight, Plenty of memory for basic entertainment/school/office/browsing needs, with a sleek carbon fiber look.
Cons: The touch pad is sub-par (overly sensitive). I do enjoy the idea that it is a smart-pad (use two fingers to scroll up/down). Nevertheless, I prefer a USB Mouse, so I hardly use it. And Because of its lightweight material, the hinges feel a bit week.
Summary: This computer has exceeded my expectations. I went into the computer store with a budget of 500 bucks. And did not think that I was going to walk out with a computer as great as this. I absolutely adore it. I use it for browsing, entertainment (Movies and Music), and minimal gaming purposes, and I am yet to encounter a problem of dislike. With Windows 7 installed, everything seems to download super-fast, and perform wonderfully. So If your the type of person who uses a computer for it's face value (the uses that I previously mentioned), then like me, this PC fulfills all my needs as a notebook. Overall, This PC has been wonderful. Best 500 dollars I've spent in a long time.
So I just noticed that The ASUS K60IJ is pretty much the Same thing as the K50IJ. The only difference is that the K60IJ has Windows 7, and a little more umph. So what I don't understand is why the editors reviewed the K60IJ so low, and then rated the K50IJ higher???? The K60 has better stuff........ Anyway, if your thinking about purchasing this computer and need more reviews to look at, then take a look at the ASUS K50IJ Reviews (Pretty much the same computer, only a different operating system).

Pros: Fast , nice looking blue color ,nice price ,windows 7 ,4 GB , etc ,etc .
Cons: speakers !!! very poor speakers ,, you barely can heard something ..
Summary: love everything about this computer well !!! ,,almost everything !!!! the speakers are terrible barely can hear anything ,,, what I did was to buy a pair of speakers at amazon.com ,that I can easy connect to one of the four USB 2.0 ports , this incredible laptop offers four USB 2.0 ,most laptops only come whit two or three USB 2.0 maximum , and whit the external speakers the sound problem was resolved very very happy whit ASUS K60IJ ...

Pros: Easy for typing, great screen size, good sized memory, has a side Number Key Pad, decent processing power
Cons: Its a Fingerprint Magnet, otherwise theres nothing that for me
Summary: Ive had this laptop for almost 9 months now it has worked perfectly. i only use it for surfing the internet and i play a few games. IT works Great

Pros: It fast and the battery last alot of time about 4 hours.. But wifi that can connect from super far like 40ft and my wifi router said it only go 20ft and it the keyboard is easy to type and with my last laptop it was hard to type unlike this.
Cons: I only thing i hate about is the speakers because the sound it low and it Window 7 so my old programs can't run as fast or as right as before.
Summary: There are only a few games for Window 7 so it hard to find the right game and the speaker are under the laptop so it sound is lower then before and it overheats so fast if on your lap but not your table or desk. But it great for kids and for work too and so far it my best laptop.
