"Outstanding in every respect."
Pros: Everything you will ever need in a computer and it is portable. This is by far the finest computer I have ever owned. High security with triple authentication log in capacity makes this is a very secure computer.
Cons: There is nothing that I do not like about this computer. Nothing.
Summary: Speed and capacity are the same as many other computers but any comparison ends there. With sophisticated biometric facial recognition and finger print reader module together with a password makes this a highly secure computer which with encryption will fully protect all operationally and highly sensitive data. This is not a cheap finter print reader it requires an actual finger and senses body temperature as opposed to a photo of a fingerprint. Also, it will record up to all 10 fingers with 5 specimen prints for each finger. Facial recognition is highly accurate and if the parameters do not match photos in the gallery then you will not get into the machine. In these times when computers are stolen, this one is worthless to anyone who does not have your finger your face and your password. The computer enagles you to create a gallery of various pictures of yourself. Bottom line finger print technology and facial recognition provide a high degree of security. You can configure to require three system confirmation to access computer, i.e. password, finger print and facial recognition. Initially I planned to use this Notebook only when traveling, however, because it is so fast and efficient I now use it as a desktop replacement becuase it does everything that I need and provides the security of my data that I need. This is by far the finest computer I have ever owned. It is fast, secure and easily portable. The ASUS Warranty including accidental damage replacement is outstanding. This is a well engineered computer that can be upgraded without buying a completely new computer. A simple cost-benefit ratio analyhsis indictates that this superbly engineered, well thought out highly secure computer is precisely what I wanted and purchased. I could not be happier. Every individual or company that has sensitive data and trade secrets that it wants to protect can do so with this computer with its authentication and encryption software. This is a highly sophisticated computer which does everything that a business user or governmental agency needs. After six months, I have absolutely no complaints of any type. Highly recommend the ASUS to all prospective buyers. If you do a cost benefit ratio analysis you will find that this well engineered computer is well worth the price. I had mine upgraded to 64 bit with Vista Ultimate to take full advantage of the 4 GB of RAM and bit locker. I know of no downside to this fine piece of equipment.
