"light, portable, long battery, good graphics, its ASUS!"3.5 starson by mrmattch3w
-great battery: 6-8 hours every day. I am at school all the time and am rarely ever by an outlet. I also do a lot of my work and printing rite out of my car! This 8-cell battery is one tough cookie
-graphics: the gt520m can run MO
Cons: It lacks more advanced ports like firewire and I guess a few more t hat everyone uses. I really don't mind because I've never found myself using ports other than USB on my laptop. The glossy screen does present a problem sometimes but the battery on this
Summary: This is an amazing laptop. It is a more ideal choice than getting the $300 deal from other places. I do not see 51.6" laptops usable anymore because if their size. I find t hem to be a lot heavier, harder to travel with, and the battery life on those things just seem to be relatively bad; the last time I used one in a college class, the laptop was bigger than the desk I was sitting on.
The processor is 2nd gen i3. It is more than enough processor for anyone. The only thing that should give this laptop problems is with HD applications like Adobe after affects, premiere, Autdesk Maya, autoCAD, etc. This laptop should handle these programs but it will still be nothing like having a HD tower.
This laptop can do casual gaming, it's a laptop so I don't expect it to disapate heat as well as my tower but from what I've seen, under heavy load the processor doesn't even reach 60C without a cooling pad!
People should buy this laptop!
