"Was Skeptical of ASUS, but not anymore!"
Pros: Powerful centrino 2 processor, 4GB Ram, 1GB nVidia Card, 3+ Hour Battery life. Everthing I wanted in a new notebook. FAST, FAST, FAST!!! HDMI out. Stylish.
Cons: Asus brand name, mouse pad/mouse keys should be better. Built in web cam should be better.

"WOW! Hard to believe this is a sub-1000 dollar laptop."
Pros: Performance and screen quality. Only laptop in it's range to hit 5 on Vista's Windows experience index. LED back light eliminates DC/AC inverter that powers traditional screens-one of the more common things that fry in laptops. 1GB DDR3 video RAM!!
Cons: Not crazy about the shell cosmetics, in particular the orange on brown logos and accents. Keyboard markings are tan, not white so it's hard too see in some light. No Bluetooth is sort of silly since there's a hardware button and software for it.

Pros: Nice components.
Cons: Stiff Mouse Buttons, Pad Too sensitive and tap it very lightly works like clicking on the mouse button, this problem alone has been a nightmare.

Pros: This is my 1st laptop. I did a lot of research before I bought. I also talked to dozens of people that have laptops. They had HP, Sony & Toshiba, they all had some sort of major complaints. 1 person had an ASUS...no complaints. I love mine too!
Cons: Nothing negative at all.
