"They are selling TOYS" on by LarryHK
Pros: Looks good, light , I/O is good
Cons: Bad service, very slow
Summary: AVERATAC Laptop AV4265-EH1, It looks beautiful but with terrible service that dive me crazy.
I brought this laptop at Staples this July 4th (what an honest day!) and it cracked down after 18 days. Since more than 14 days, Staples won’t replace a new one and asked me sent the problem laptop to CA, the AVERATAC repair workshop.
AVERATAC gave me the RMA#, I tried 100 times to check my RMA# on AVERATAC web side, but it said the # is not in the system! And no one could tell me what happen when I call their service, no one answer my e-mail questions!
Finally, they sent my laptop back and tell me when I call, that they replace with new motherboard for it.
But there are at lease 3 problem come back with it. First, the system runs very slow; second, there is one white dot on my screen; the third, my DVD/CD ROM can’t open and comes out 2 mm which can’t close fully; I can’t see the diver from the system device manager window!
This is a new machine, it only been used 4 or 5 times in 18 days, if I am bad luck to pick one with the problem motherboard, AVERATAC should just replace another new laptop to me, and sent the bad one back to the factory. I don’t know why AVERATAC wasting the money (replace motherboard) and the time (for my waiting) and drive the customer crazy (bring more problems after fix one).
I spend $1150 to buy this laptop and still can’t use it for 4 months; does any one want to be the next like me???
Don’t trust any company they don’t care the customers!
Don’t buy any product that keeps driving you crazy!Updated
