  • "Dell dud - quality no longer a priority of Dell"
    1.5 stars
    on by iounothing

Pros: Inexpensive, small and light without being too cramped

    Cons: Dell's reliability/service have tanked

Summary: The motherboard on this laptop quit on me after 1 year of VERY light use and is no longer repairable. The DVD drive rarely worked from day 1, and tech support was of no use in getting my problem resolved. I used to be a Dell fan, but have had disppointing experiences with with this laptop and the last 2 Dell desktops I've owned. At some point, their build quality and reliability have plummeted. Dell, you lost a loyal customer here!
