"Does everything i wanted/needed and more"
Pros: thoughtful touches, like speaker in front so that you can listen to music with top closed, also you can see status lights with lid closed. Battery level ON BATTERY is genious so you don't have to boot up machine. Fast, haven't had any real problems so far
Cons: It was expensive, only 2 usb and they're all the way in the back (firewire is on the side which is nice). It has done the strange "mom i don't wanna wake up" thing where it has trouble coming out of its sleep mode.

Pros: Overall good battery life, speed, and features.
Cons: Hard drived failed. After a new one was sent to me, I had to format it myself. Thanks, Dell. Video Card supposedly went bad according to tech support, but still can't figure out the problem. Don't have to to send my laptop in. To keep it short, I wil

"Dell was the best is 1999, today they slip"
Pros: Great Customization, can upgrade video to 128MB, HD to 60GB 7200rpm, and get a second battery for the cd slot, plus the 15.4" screen is great for displaying two programs open at once.
Cons: Sometimes the laptop will not power-up off the batteries (no fix from dell), speakers should have been mounted up not forward, the plastic mouse pad material needs to be smoother, and drivers in XP Pro conflict with each other so that I am told by Dell te

"Would be good if it wasn't junk"
Pros: DVD Burner, Not so bad Screen, good battery life
Cons: My computer wasn't even a month old when things started to go wrong. After two weeks my dvd burner broke. It just stoped reading cd's altogether. I called up dell tech support it was a pain. Kept getting transfered, hung up on, and to top it all off you
