Exactly what I expected....almost
Pros: Excellent Display, pretty quick processing
Cons: Absolutely needs memory upgrade

Had this unit about 8 months and for the most part am very pleased. The display is awesome and has quite a few whistles and bells if that's important. If you plan to use this for any multi media work go for at least 1 gig of memory. Stock is 512 and it just don't get it! I opted to upgrade to the max 2 gigs and this baby hums!!

after paying $2400 for a top-notch system, at first I was impressed by the display and other gadgets like the remote control and media center, which I've never used. The keyboard broke down after 2 months of use. On wamr days when the humidity is high, the ALT and CTRL seem to get stuck some how. It happens all the time, and makes the machine impossible to use. I called up the Dell Support, where they told me after making over 50 calls, that my hardware warranty had expires, and that in order to diagnose my problem, I would have to pay their phone support, just to let me know, that the problem was with my keyboard..... 'DDDDUUUUHHHH!!!!!!!!, no kidding !!!!!'

This notebook is everything as advertized.

I'm disapointed that I paid full retail from Dell. After having purchased it I found various discount coupons. Overall I'm very satisfied with the product and service from Dell. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another Dell Product. I especially like my Nvidia 6800 video, 17" display and i GIG of RAM.
