"Excellent for the average user!"
Pros: Price, nice LCD, has all the basics.
Cons: Not powerfull enough if you are not an average user.
Summary: Most users purchase laptops to surf the net, email, type documents, maybe some spreadsheets, and do their taxes. If you are this type of user, this laptop is perfect and will save you tons of money. I received it as a gift for Christmas. Only addition my wife made was to bump the memory to 1GB. Just perfect! I can have Word, Visio, FrontPage, and a browser open at the same time with no issues at all.
If you are planning to do some heavy duty stuff, you should purchase a different laptop.
