"In hindsight not a good purchase"
Pros: Good performance, good graphics quality, lots of ports, touchpad and ptg stick, decent sound
Cons: Much larger than fellow ultraportables while keeping the 12" screen, battery life much lower than reported,AC adapter failed within days, have not rec'd cd drive for machine after 1 month and 3 calls to customer service, why hasn't dell moved to stronger

Pros: The D400 is average at best and expensive once you add options.
Cons: Mother Board died 3 months after I got the it leaving me with out a computer for a couple weeks. Screen colors are off from printed copy when doing presentations in Power Point. They say this computer is light, but it feels heavy next to the IBM. The powe

"This is a good laptop but there are better."
Pros: Good keyboard, lightwieght, comes with built-in centrino, LCD light.
Cons: It dosnt even have a built-in disk-drive! You have to use a portable Disk-drive and floppy-drive
