    "Unreliable"

    Pros: Dell support answers the phone in about 10 minutes

    Cons: You have top call support frequently , and then they fail to deliver!

    Summary: I am an expert user, and this is by far the most unreliable laptop I have ever owned.
    Three disk crashes in three years, and Dell service is horrible. One time it took them 10 days to get to me, and I have an extended 24x7 service plan!

    Based on this review, I will not purchase a Dell Latitude D600. Today, the Geek Squad pronounced my Dell Inspiron 4600 dead of Motherboard failure. I suppose I should be content with 5 years of reasonably maintenance free service from the unit, but after reading this review, I think I'll steer away from the Dell brand altogether.
