Summary: My wife and I were both given this same model laptop by our respective employers within 3 months of each other and we both love them. The I5-2520M processor does everything I ask it to effortlessly. Running Camtasia it does not render videos as fast as my quad core AMD Phenom II desktop, but the times are quite reasonable. Video and graphic performance are plenty fast (but I am not a gamer). The display is plenty bright. My only quibble with the screen is that the size is a bit small for some of my uses (HTML and large document editing), so I sometimes have to resort to using a monitor via the docking station. The keyboard, while slightly smaller than on my previous laptop, has a very easy-to-use layout and great feel. The touchpad is OK, but I still prefer to use a travel mouse.
At under 4 pounds it is significantly easier to drag around to meetings etc. and the battery life is about twice what my previous-generation Dell had.
While these can be configured with a USB 3.0 port, mine is not. The two USB ports are a bit stingy, especially as I always have one taken up by the adapter for my mouse. It's a minor quibble though as the networking is fast enough that I can do my backups that way.
Using the docking station, Windows sometimes has difficulty properly recognizing my monitor, but I am not sure that is an issue unique to this laptop - it may be the Intel graphics drivers.
Overall this has exactly what I think a great laptop needs: power, portability, long battery life, and durability.
