Pros: Good power for the money, firewire, sata, slot-loading cd drive

"Sturdy Laptop, Not as bad as everyone says."
Pros: Good construction, plenty of ports and RAM, 17" screen, battery life can run full 2 1/2 hour DVD, decently fast disc-burning. 15 month subscription of Trend Micro Internet Security, 2 MP webcam, 2 headphone/speaker jacks. Wireless N capable.
Cons: Resolution could be a tad better, some ports could have been moved to the back to avoid clutter, cursor touchpad is somewhat finicky. Speakers are horrible.

"A problem-free desktop replacement"
Pros: My Studio 17 worked perfectly right out of the box and I've had not a single problem in my 6 weeks of ownership. I'm dumbfounded at the low rating it has gotten here. No problems with Vista either; I much prefer it to XP.
Powerful but sexy machine.Cons: The only thing I don't like about my Studio are the speakers. They are like the earbuds that come with the iPod: you can hear the music but not well. I added speakers but there was static on them until I adjusted the sound via the sound card options.

"superior technology inferior quality, same old dell"
Pros: 1900x1200 rgb led hd screen; only windows pc maker to have broadcome wireless; comparable low price with outlet coupons.
Cons: con: poor quality motherboard, dell should cut off those bad mobo suppliers; low quality ati video card, serious disappointment there isnt an nvidia 9600m+ card option.

""PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW" Save yourself a headache!"
Pros: Great options! The one I like the most is the finger print reader. The light keyboard is a major plus. The bluetooth is ok but I really haven't had time to play with it yet.
Cons: Quality is really poor. For the price you would think you are getting a laptop with aluminuim construction. The extended battery isn't much more extended then the regular one. Customer and tech support is the pits. If you can understand them.
