"Way to Go Dell!!"
4.5 starson by AuditmanPros: Blazing fast processor; Great graphics; Smooth Keyboard.
Cons: It's not cheap! But hey; you're going to have to pay for "Top of the Line".
Summary: I don't know where to start to describe the Inspiron XPS Gen 2! My laptop works like a "charm" since I got it. The Pentium M 2.13 GHZ Processor is fast and all of my games play with the "greatest of ease" on it! The graphics card is great ("sweet") and DVD's along with word processing, Excel spreadsheets, and web surfing work well also. If you can, upgrade the hard drive to the 100 gigabyte 7200 RPM. It's worth the extra money.
The laptop came with Norton Internet Security 2005 pre-loaded. Although Zone Alarm Internet Security Suite is better, the Norton IS 2005 should work fine if it's pre-loaded by Dell at the factory.

I like your enthusiasm (I share it), but you have made a mistake in recommending the 100GB hard drive to people. Readers, please be aware the 100GB hard drive is NOT 7200RPM, but rather 5400RPM. There are two 7200RPM drives you can get with this model: 60GB and 80GB. The 100GB is only 5400. They may offer a 7200 version in the future, but as of right now it is not available.
