"The Only Small Gaming Laptop, if only it had the looks as well as the brain power"
Pros: The only real choice for a compact gaming notebook, beautifull glossy screen, light, fast graphics
Cons: Boring looks, thick for a small notebook, mediocre speakers
Summary: I bought this machine last week as a replacement for my 12inch Powerbook. Although i have not owned this machine for a long time, i can say that i am impressed with the overall speed of the computer and its portability making it ideal for my needs as a constant traveller. But the Dell XPS M1210 is far from being a perfect machine. The keyboard and the trackpad are super cramped, typing for long periods of time becomes painfull, I found the keyboard on my older powerbook to be leagues ahead and i miss the large trackpad. The XPS M1210 (and nearly every Dell) fails to impress me with the industrial design. Why is it that Apple is the only computer company that actually places some importance on apperance. My Powerbook is an older machine, yet its design is more modern, more fresh and thinner than this Dell. My last issue with the 1210 is its speakers, i know most laptops have pretty bad speakers but for an "XPS" branded notebook i thought multimedia was a major focus... appenrently not
