"It's a well built basic laptop"
Pros: 1) Decent battery power (1 hr 15 min to 2 hrs 10 min) 2) Good to do basic things like e-mail, facebook, youtube, myspace, documents,etc. 3) It's wireless 4) has many different output ports 5) DVD RW - CD read combo drive, 6) Ram are upgradable to 4GB
Cons: 1) battery life could be longer, 2) can't burn music onto CD's 3) doesn't have bluetooth applications, 4) can feel slightly bulk~ish while carrying it. 5) specifications will eventually be out of date.
Summary: This laptop is definitely a great machine for basic computer needs. Such as school uses, it comes with many of the Microsoft Office software such as Word Document, PowerPoint, Excel, etc. Also, it can do many online things, such as using facebook, youtube, myspace, E-mail, Google/Yahoo Searches, and many more. Plus, with many of the connection ports that comes available with this laptop, such as 5 High-Speed USB ports, 2 different FireWire Ports, and it supports 4 different kinds of flash memory cards, taking data with you or transferring data onto another computer isn't going to be a problem.
Also, with it's modern High Speed Ethernet Port, it makes your internet surfing really easy. And with the built in Wireless card built into this laptop, taking the internet with you doesn't get any easier.
This machine definitely will make a great computer for home use, school uses, and even for small businesses. Also, upgrading this laptop's ram up to 4 GB (Max) will make this laptop work a bit easier.
This machine is definitely good for a lot of uses, except there are a couple of downsides to this laptop. First downside is while carrying this laptop, it can feel a slight bit bulky after being carried for a while, due to it's weight and size. Second of all, the battery only lasts between 1 hour and 15 minutes to 2 hours and 15 minutes or so, depending on the usage. So the battery on this laptop is considered out of date when compared to recent laptops that's been built or been manufactured within the last couple years or so. Oh, and I forgot to mention this laptop doesn't come with it's own Bluetooth application, so a USB bluetooth drive might be required if necessary.
Long story short, if you're looking for a good laptop that can do many of your basic online and offline things for the next several years, I would definitely recommend this laptop or at least take it under consideration while looking for the one that can assists you in your computer needs.
