Pros: Keyboard, keypad, ergonomics, Ease of Use, Connection, Display Size, Evrything Else!!
Cons: None So Far Except No WWAN, but I never Use WWAN anyway.
Summary: I have viewed and reviewed tablet and umpc's galore in an effort to find one that is priced just right, and also one that is just right for me, and does just what I want it to do. With my new Fujitsu Lifebook T1010, I believe my search is over. Of course, as my wife made me promise, it has to be over for at least the next 4 years. (LOL)
Update to my original review for my georgeous Fujitsu Lifebook T1010 laptop/ tablet pc; It is still wonderful, no changes, and I still love this amazing laptop/ tablet pc. I have had it for a few weeks now, tried the tablet features and things, and I still love it. Thanks
Bottom line, if you are considering getting this Tablet PC, go right ahead; you will Not be disappointed.

Pros: Great product quality while it works well.
Cons: My laptop was great before any problems; the service is terrible if you have a problem.
The customer service people are not customer friendly. The one I dealt with was outright hostile and unfriendly.Summary: I would say if you want a premium product buy Apple or Sony

Pros: Everything, right down to the nuts, bolts, and screws that Fujitsu used to put this system together!
Cons: Nothing at all. Well, let me correct that; The Only thing that I didn't like was the fact that I wasn't able to buy 2 or 3 Fujitsu tablet laptops. But the time is soon approaching that I will be able to buy another one!! Yayyy!!!!
Summary: C/Net's description of the Fujitsu Lifebook T1010 is way off course. First of all, the Fujitsu T1010 tablet laptop doesn't come with DDR2 667 Mhz RAM, and the base laptop also surely doesn't come with 1GB RAM. Here are the Correct specs, as I ought to know because I happen to own one: The RAM type for the Fujitsu Lifebook T1010 is in fact DDR3 1067 Mhz RAM (Not DDR2 667 Mhz as reported by C/Net). Also, the base model, which I am sure is what C/Net tested with, comes with at least 2GB of the DDR3 1067 MHZ RAM. Fujitsu is a top-notch pc and electronic making company. And I love Fujitsu pcs. C/Net, if you are going to use Fujitsu in one of your pawn bs laptop comparison ordeals, at least make sure that you have the specs right. Hmmm, with these inconsistencies that cnet reported via the Fujitsu T1010, do I detect maybe a little favoritsm toward the Lenovo/ IBM brand, and some discrimination against Fujitsu and Dell? Yes, I think..no.. I am pretty sure this is what is happening here. One things like these are found out, they kind of make me, as well as others, lean more towards not being able to believe anything that C/Net puts out as far as PC reviews. Sorry C/Net, but you disrespected my favorite pc maker (Fujitsu); that's mistake #1; and then you disrespected them with false information (The DDR3- DDR2 issue) just to get over a favoritized point about IBM laptops. That, my friends, ismistake #2. It'll be very hard for me to believe Anything that C/Net says now.

Pros: Display, Battery Life, Connection, Ease of Use, Durability and Build Quality, Ergonomics, Keyboard, Built-in Webcam and Mic, Speed and Quietness; I would like to put Much positive emphasis on the keyboard and mouse; they are a real pleasure to use!!
Cons: The speakers could be a little bit better, but kept in mind,this is a laptop/ tablet pc combination, and is built to be smaller, lighter weight, and more portable than other basic laptops.
Summary: The bottom line summary of this laptop/ tablet pc is the following: I had already had two very good Dell laptops that I had bought. Well, I had never really heard of Fujitsu as far as them building laptops before, but I had heard of Fujitsu cameras and other electronics and computer accessories. I also knew that Fujitsu products were pretty highly priced, and they were those prices for a reason; that Fujitsu products were made with the highest quality and durability. One day, I was online and I kept seeing Fujitsu advertise and introduce laptops; The one that i saw that i was incredibly interested in getting was the Lifebook U-820. I already had a Sony Vaio UX380N micro mini pc that i adored and still do. But while I was wanting the Fujitsu U820, I also saw the lovely Lifebook T1010 advertise. So I started looking at its specs, and viewing it, and the more that i viewed it the more that I loved the way it looks, the way the screen would and could turn all the way around if needed be, and I loved the fact that it was a tablet pc. I wasn't too educated on the different digitizers as in the active versus the passive digitizers, so looking at that spec was like foreign language to me. Well, before I knew it, I had decided to purchase my beautiful Fujitsu Lifebook T1010. Shortly afterwards, I began to see the Lifebook T5010 advertise, which had the active digitizer versus the passive one that my T1010 came with. I also began to read many negative reviews on the T1010 because of the display and type of digitizer that it had. By the time that I received the laptop/ tablet, I had convinced myself by the reviews that i had read and also by educating myself on digitizer types that I had made a mistake and that I made a bad investment and purchase of my T1010. When it arrived, I took it out of the box and looked at it spaperwork and everything that it came with. Now regretting my puchase, I turned it on. To my dismay and surprise, the display was not at alllike I had read in the negative reviews. It was sharp as anything and clear and bright. I did not see where it was dim and hazy at all. I began to feel a little bit better about my purchase. The next thing I checked out was the tablet features via it having a passive-resistive digitizer, to whcih I still did not know the difference to much. But the tablet functions and features also stunned me in the fact that they, too, were nothing like the negative reviews again that I had read about. I found out that the main difference between the digitizers is that the active one uses a specific pen-based stylus that rfequires a battery and the touch-screen from what I know can and will only function when using that stylus. You couln't use your fingers to write on the screen with. From what I think, the active digitizer is not responsive to finger touch. The passive digitizer, on the other hand, is different in this respect,a s it does Not require a certain type pen stylus, and the stylus is a plain basic one, no batteries needed. And another untruth as to what I had read, the Lifebok T1010's screen is responsive to even your fingernail as far as writing and responsiveness. I had read reviews that stated against this. And I actually do prefer the regular basic stylus against a certain battery-operated one that you would need with active digitizer screens. With this, I think that that's just one less item that I have to make sure to buy batteries for.
Well, after reviewing all of the so-called posted negative reviews about certain issues with the T1010 myself, I began to realize as the saying Is true, never believe everything that you read, and only half of what you hear. So to sum this psrt of the summary up, I began to be and still am, quite happy and excited with my T1010 puchase, even now.
Now for the rest of the botom line: The computer works brilliantly. Its keyboard os nothing like I have ever used or seen. It is definitely onbe of a kind. And the webcam is sharp, bright, and clear, just like the display is. The DVD burner/ player plays superb, and the dvd movies etc... show up crystal clear, radiant, better than anything I have ever seen them play on. While light, the computer still feels of a very sturdy and high-quality build, and the battery life is exceptional. I really think I would have totally regretted it had I of sent this laptop/ tablet back for a refund based on a few negative reviews. I could go on and on about all the positives of this wonderful laptop, but time and max words this site allows me will not let me say everything. So, with all of this said, my suggestion is if you are looking for a very exceptional professional laptop/ tablet pc and an incredibly reasonal price, then I strongly urge/ suggest you get the Lifebook T1010. You will not regret your purchase of it if you decide to buy it. Thanks for reading!!!!!
