"Best small laptop at this price range."
Pros: Slim, light, bright screen and long battery life
Cons: Come with 512 mb ram only
Summary: I had this laptop for more then a month and have been enjoying the ultra light compactness. I find this laptop very solidly built and the screen was very bright and even fine text looks very sharp. It's as good as my other SONY VIAO if not better. The 6 cells battery lasted about 2.15hrs and I am considering getting the 9 cells battery that will last more then 3hrs. I heard the 12 cells last 7 hrs but it's very bulky and heavy. Earlier I had some issue with the DVD not reading but the tech support sent a replacement overnight. When I complaint 2 screws were missing they sent me not 2 but 4 screws overnight again. The overnight delivery for the screws was an over kill but I am definitely impressed at their service. Other bigger company has been less generous. I was totally overwhelm by this unexpected excellent after sales service by Gateway. I highly recommend this company and will buy the brand again.
