    Pros: optical drive relatively quiet, 6 cell battery adequate for most needs, 5200 RPM hard drive (with 60GB and above). DDR 2 RAM. Docking station activates keyboard, video monitor, and other USB ports. Widescreen in a small notebook! Wireless G and good dashboard indicator lights. Fantastic touchpad with easy scroll window button.

    Cons: RAM shipped with 2*256MB instead of 1*512MB stick. No programmable buttons (that I know of having used it for 2 days).

    Conclusion: Just got this as my other gateway notebook was replaced. Much improvement over gateway ARC200 model I had before this one. Faster hard drive makes a world of difference. Seems to be light, with the 6 cell battery this could easily be carried around in the airport.
