"2 backlights, 1 harddrive, 1 motherboard and USBs still don't work"

Cons: very unstable and unreliable
Summary: The laptop came out of the box with a burnout backlight. I asked immediately for a replacement computer and was turned down. Gateway's policy at the time (less than 2 yrs. ago) was a replacement provided w/in 72 hrs of rcvg computer. Has been in for servicing 4 times and the USB ports are gone again (3rd time). Was promised a new computer the last servicing, and have been online with tech support for 2 hours trying to convince them to give me a new computer. DON'T BUY GATEWAY!
