"Business notebook with noise - FAN PROBLEM" on by kontroll
Pros: Good machine, full features
Cons: Fan problem
Summary: I bought my nc6000 a year ago. It is a very good machine, but it has a fan issue since the first day I use. The fan powers on and off very often, sometimes every 15 seconds. This is a known problem, you can read about that in several HP forums. A lot of users already sold their nc6000 because they could not stand the NOISE.
My rating is 2, because HP has not solved that issue (BIOS update). They know the problem but they do not CARE.
