"Perfect For Light Duty Portable Computing" on by Lutefiskhater

Pros: The keyboard is very nice.
    Extremely light and compact.
    Decent battery life.
    Great Price
    Runs Office 2007 OK
    Great for surfing and e-mail
    Excellent "cool" factor
Built in bluetooth and wifi capabilities

Cons: Takes a long time to boot up. Even after the icons come up on the screen, you really have to wait a couple more minutes for the system to be useable.

Sometimes Word locks up when working on a document, but all is fine if you wait a moment

Summary: I am no techie, so I really don't know much about computers. But I use them all the time and I know what I like, and I like this little netbook. I got the cheapest version (from HP $270 inc shipping) and I could not be happier.

It does what I need and want. I can work on docs, spreadsheets, & PP almost anywhere. Great for surfing and catching up with my e-mail.

The only game I play is solitaire, so I don't know if it would work for more system taxing games, I kinda doubt it...

If you want a simple computer for basic stuff, it is hard to beat!

"A Big Bang From A Small Package" on by brettr10

Pros: HP support for this netbook is awesome. Everything I need in a mini laptop. Easy to set up. Wireless is awesome, battery life is wonderful. Durable and nce to look at.

Cons: Needs a bigger hard drive.

"Easy to tote and very convenient" on by queend229

Pros: I love the convenience of carrying this HP 1010nr around anywhere I want. It's lightweight and can fit in my pocketbook with my wallet and planner. For the price of $299 at Staples, I couldn't go wrong!

Cons: The drawback is that there are not many instructions on the devices installed with this mini. There is no CD player if you need to install software from a CD.

Summary: Overall, I choose to carry my HP mini laptop rather than toting my 15 inch Dell Insprion. My shoulders sure do appreciate it and besides I'm only using the internet anyway.

"Love everything but the touchpad" on by rfairman

Pros: Very light, excellent cool factor, runs MS 2007 ok

Cons: I don't like the touch pad, wish the mouse button were below, and not on the sides.

Summary: Overall I use this Netbook for web browsing, msn and skype - its proven to be great for those purposes.
