Pros: Initially, this thing was amazing. It worked like a champ when it came to everything that wasn't a very graphics intensive game.

Cons: Overheating! Also, after the 4 months of dream-like performance, it practically self-destructed. The BIOS update killed it, and HP revived it, only to have the sound card die a few months later and then the video card croak a month after that.

I totally agree. Worked like a champ for a few months. My lcd display died after about a year and a half of ownership (it was barely used during that time). When replacing that, I decided to clean the cpu heat sink fan. It was full of lint or dust so air was barely flowing. Runs slower than ever now. Battery life currently is less than 45 mins on a full charge. Any suggestions how to fix this let me know. I am thinking new vista installation.
