Summary: This is an excellent PC for the money. I travel alot and use Verizon mobile internet through my blackberry. This laptop works excellent with that service. It even has a built in mobile card if you do not have tethering capabillities with your phone (ie iphone). Very satisfied with this purchase and Win7 is outstanding on this machine. And I can't imagine that any apple product is superior at more than 2x the price. Kudos to MSFT as they have eliminated any aapl advantage with Win7.This machine is Extremely smooth, stable and quick. Very impressed!!!!! Would highly recommend this machine to anyone!!

12 cell battery the life will last much longer give review with 6 cell that is why it is poor
i have 12 cell battery and it props up computer to help with typing and it isn't much heavierCons: None that i have found yet
Summary: This PC is a good buy because it is cheap, good looking. I have had no problems with windows 7 or any other program on the computer. I would recommend this HP to anyone. I like the design and i like that it is not to heavy or big to carry around. I like the keyboard how it has the 10 keyoff to the right. The screen color is great and now a days the Intel dual core 2 is one of the better processors around right now and the 12 cell battery is definitely the way to go so overall great machine very happy. I researched alot and the two main manufacturers leading the laptop market is very surprising to me toshiba and hp i thought it would be apple and sony but in terms of the processors and overall design these are the two leading laptops. I chose hp because i researched a mainstream cheap, quick, business like pc and hp was my choice. The equivalent to this laptop is a $1100 toshiba. I got this hp at a price match at NFM (nebraska furniture mart) for 679 then i had gift certificates for 275 which i used and then sold my old laptop for 125 so i bought a brand new hp pc for 279 otherwise i would have spent 700 which isn't bad either but the design and look of the hp caught my eye.

Pros: Built in Air card (we use Verizon but AT&T and Sprint are all so available), speed, size (I've had 13, 14, 14.5, 15.6) 14.1 is just rtght

Summary: Gave this to my 12 year old daughter for Christmas 2009, and right out of the box she was able to start using th pc (although I did need a 10 minute call to HP (on Xmas morning & THEY WERE THERE IMPRESSED) to get the Aircard up and running but after that my daughter was on Skype talking to All her friend, in minutes. Very user friendly. I have noticed lately, that its running a little slow, so I'm going to add some more RAM (Also very easy to do thru access door on bottom of PC. Light Skribe is pretty amazing, Able to burn Picutes from the notebook onto a DVD/CD. kids love it. One other thing, PC was $750 but because I signed up for 2 years of Mobile Broadband w/Verizon at BEST BUYS, they dropped the price down to $500. I don't know if it's still available but worth asking at Best Buys if considering this PC. We had no problems with this PC EVER! Thank for taking the time to read my review.
