Summary: I purchased my laptop at Best Buy and it came with XP Pro, 100 gig HD, and 128 mb dedicated graphics memory. I would have preferred a faster hard drive, but I noticed that if you want a faster one it has to be smaller, usually
around 50 gigs. Oh well. Runs HL2 at high res and medium textures great, looks beautiful. Would definitely recommend upgrading ram to 1 gig if you like to multitask and play games. All of these issues are minor and considering the 999 price tag they are completely insignificant. -

Pros: HP makes setup easy. Upon powering up for the first time, HP walks you through the entire setup process. After that it's excellent!
Cons: Wireless connection is sometimes low, but even if a low connection the internet speed over broadband is excellent.
Summary: I love this notebook. The monitor is so crystal clear. Adding my own software was a cinch...as was installing my printers. Well worth the money!

Pros: Inexpensive, powerful and easy to use

Summary: Very inexpensive and very powerful. Fully loaded, ports, memory, card readers, video graphics, dvd burner, hard drive, etc.. I wanted a notebook that could complete with a desktop, but I didn't want to spend over a grand, this is the machine. I have a notebook that I can be proud of, and happy with, without breaking the bank.

Summary: I started my own consulting business several months ago and was looking for a powerful laptop that would not break the bank. I found one! Excellent value for the money. Thanks to Athlon for the AMD 64 processor. Very fast. 80G hard drive and 512MB helps make my PowerPoint prentations that much easier to work with. I use alot of photos, graphs, and video clips during my presentations and the 6130 keeps humming along. The size (and weight) of this laptop are the only drawbacks so far. I guess I knew this going in, but the reality of it hit harder than I thought.

Summary: This was an incredible find. I bought this computer 6 months ago and I am very happy that I did. Right now I am online trying to find my mother this same computer. Unfortunately, my stores have sold out of these computers. It would appear that e-bay will be getting some of my business. This computer is highly recommended
